I absolutely know this is a long shot but I'm at rope's end and am trying all options.
Hoping to find a caring private landlord who has a house for rent and is willing to work with me.
I am 47, female, hardworking professional (ironically, a property manager).
Lost my job in Aug.
2023 and after an exhaustive search was unable to find new employment (during which time I continued to pay all bills until running out of funds/savings after November 2023) subsequently losing housing in January of this year.
I have recently finally been hired for a new position.
I had to relocate to the position, so I put belongings in storage, packed up a car, and moved from another state to here to Villa Rica, GA.
I inquired about living on property I was hired to manage; however, I was advised that the property has a multi- year waitlist and the company does not make allowances for a manager apartment — so at this time I still have no permanent housing.
Not the best deal but after being out of work for so long, out of need I accepted the position.
As I work in the field of property management, I am very clean, keep things in good order - you'd never have to worry about your property.
I do have a documented emotional support animal/ESA (not pet) cat, 14yo, who doesn't climb, jump in windows or on counters, tear up blinds, etc.

never any litter accidents, and has never broken a thing.
I'm looking for a landlord who is willing to rent a 3br house (or 2br w/ basement), at a very reasonable rate - and work with me regarding deposit/first month as with being out of work for so long, exhausting savings, I’d have to pay installments (bi-weekly) for first month rent (and separate installments for deposit) before settling into the standard monthly rent.
I am NOT asking for a hand out, not asking for money, etc.

just to see if you would work with me on deposit/first month - then I would take on the regular monthly payments from there.
Thank you.

I've had some off-handed replies, some suggesting unethical quid-pro-quo, and some questions that violate housing laws - but please, serious replies only.
I'm a real person just using every avenue in hopes of finding a legitimate private landlord in either areas of Villa Rica/Douglasville/Dallas.
