Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting expedites of MLCCs between the TCU and TEF (TDK Electronics Factories) Planning members to meet customer requirements.
Supports accurate monthly Japan Order (JO) placement and frequent JO maintenance to ensure the correct flow of MLCCs to the factory and to react to customer order fluctuations rapidly.
Assists TCU Production Planners in crafting delivery schedules for customers.

Qualifications:
High School diploma and three or more years of experience in a related field, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in MS applications: Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
Proficient in business intelligence/analytics applications: Power BI, Tableau, etc.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, charts, and spread sheets
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and to respond to communications, inquiries, and complaints
Ability to speak effectively to guests, customers or employees of the organization
Ability prepare and analyze detailed data sets
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the organization
Must be able to adjust working hours to allow for daytime and nighttime work
Experience with SAP preferred
Proficiency in Japanese language skills required
Essential Duties / Job Responsibilities:
Gather, consolidate, and reconcile expedite requests from TCU Production Planning representatives.
Communicate daily with TEF Planning staff to obtain updates on delivery schedules with a focus on expediting urgent products.
Maintains updated Japan Order (JO) and customer demand information on an item by item basis to ensure TCU receives the proper mix of MLCCs.
Reports trends in delivery performance by item, case size, origin factory, material, etc.

Responds to requests from Sales and TCU Planners and aides in problem solving and actions to improve delivery problems.
Monitors process slow/non-moving inventory and reports concerns to Planning Manager.
Assists in the data collection and analysis to support accurate TCU sales index forecasting and monthly production planning.
Suggests continuous improvement projects according to departmental goals.
Performs other work-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Planning Manager or other management personnel.
