APA Color Graphics, a brand signage and interior décor company seeks candidate with a positive attitude and ability to stay organized while juggling multiple, deadline driven jobs and tasks.
We have an immediate opening for a Print Technician that has experience with large format printing.
The position will require operating multiple printers, ripping files for print and maintaining high quality output.
This is a Monday through Friday full-time position.
Job duties include:
- Preparing files for print
- Loading / unloading printers
- Print jobs on roll-to-roll or flatbed printers
- Daily maintenance on the printers
- Plot cut vinyl jobs
- Keep the area clean and organized
- Cross train in other departments
Education, Skills, Experience:
- Experience operating Rip stations on PC's
- Ability to multi-task (operate multiple printers at same time)
- Attention to detail and quality of final prints
- Ability to handle the pressure of strict deadlines
- Good written and verbal English communication skills (bi-lingual a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to work cooperatively with co-workers
- Motivated to learn
- Punctual and reliable
- With assistance, ability to lift up to 45-pound print substrates
- Working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
- Work schedule flexibility for occasional projects
