Marietta based flooring company is seeking a Coordinator for their Warranty Claims and Service Department.
This is a fully in-office position and is similar to an Administrative Coordinator/Administrative Assistant positions.
*Objectives of This Role *
The Claims & Service Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient processing of claims while providing essential support to the Service and Warranty Coordinator.
* Ensure collaborative and effective communication throughout the claims management process, maintaining a positive relationship with suppliers and customers.
* Serves as the primary contact between the company and its suppliers, in the capacity of managing all claims.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely resolution of all claims filed with suppliers.
* Enhance the efficiency of service and warranty operations by facilitating communication, scheduling, and coordination within the department.
*Responsibilities *
*Claims/Returns: *
* Receive, review, and file claims with suppliers for defective materials, shipping errors, and material returns.
* Arrange inspections with suppliers and internal teams.
* Coordinate replacements of defective material within the claims process.
Includes ordering replacement material, sample returns, scheduling installation, and communicating with suppliers and appropriate internal teams on each stage.
* Facilitate the scrapping of defective materials.
* File return claims with suppliers and obtain return authorizations (RA).
* Coordinate with warehouse team and third-party shippers to arrange returns within the scope of the RA.
* Collaborate with purchasing and sales representatives for replacement, when necessary.
* Follow up with vendors to ensure timely processing of credits.
*Service & Warranty: *
* Assist Service & Warranty Coordinator in coordinating appointments with homeowners.
* Support the Service & Warranty Coordinator in ordering materials based on internal inspection reports.
* Weekly review of Open Orders report and collaborate with the Service & Warranty Coordinator for resolution.
* Manage multiple on-going responsibilities in a time sensitive environment.
*Skills and Qualifications *
* 3+ years of project management/coordinating experience.
* Ability to work independently as well as work closely with internal team members, customers, and suppliers.
* Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management.
* Demonstrated strong organizational skills, with attention to detail, time management and prioritization.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
* Ability to work in fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking.
* Positive attitude and self-motivated
* Flooring and/or Home Building Construction experience a plus.
* Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook and Excel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.
00 - $50,000.
