Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Manufacturing Engineer.
Manufacturing Engineers provide support for all stages of a platform's program lifecycle.
The Manufacturing Engineering (ME) discipline is consulted and responsible for manufacturing plan development, full-rate production standup and support, and post-delivery sustainment and modification activities.
MEs are integral at every program stage for efficient and effective aircraft production.
This position will be embedded in detailed manufacturing plans, concepts, processes, and procedures.
The day-to-day tasking will include working with shop floor personnel, design engineering, quality engineering, industrial engineering, and other engineering disciplines to support production of our various platforms.

Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related degree plan: Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering Technology, Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology, or Aeronautics Engineering Technology • Must be a US Citizen.
This position will require a government security clearance.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills: • Desire to be in an Operations role indicated by expressing interest in 'hands-on' applications of engineering and manufacturing principles • Previous manufacturing/operations experience • Member of the SME, SAE, ASME, or other similar technical organization • Design, build club/project experience (i.
e.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
