Application Engineer is responsible for the product selection, layout and application of exhaust components for commercial, industrial and residential buildings.
Application Engineer must communicate effectively with customers ,engineers, manufacturing, sales & customer service departments to address their needs in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Generate SolidWorks models/drawings/blocks/renderings as needed for customers, production, applications, & marketing departments.
Construct routings from engineer sketches, emails, and discussions.
Ensure drawings are checked, approved, filed, and compiled in accordance with company quality systems.
Provide static pressure, heat flow loss calculations and draft analysis for appliances, kitchen hoods and power generation equipment.
Contact outside appliance manufacturers that can use Jeremias products and design adapters to work with corresponding appliances.
Maintain database of applicable adapters.
Design, improve & implement new products based on sales / marketing requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
Provide timely and accurate responses to customer needs.
Hands on evaluation of product for fit, form & function.
Assemble product for QA and demonstration purposes.
Communicate with customers seeking information on type, size, and dimensions of requested HVAC products.
Job Qualifications:
Ability to be detail oriented, function in a multi-task environment, follow complex instructions, and meet fast paced deadlines.
Education and/or Experience
2-year technical degree (Drafting) or equivalent experience
High level of SolidWorks experience.
Outgoing, energetic, demonstrated ability to make things happen!
Experience with HVAC industry and sheet metal.
Excellent problem resolution and analytical skills.
Proficient written and oral communication skills.
