Deck Builder DC Enclosures is currently hiring for Deck Builders and Carpenters DC Enclosures, Inc located in Kennesaw, GA specializes in designing and building custom sunrooms and screen enclosures.
We are looking to expand our team by adding an additional deck building crew.
Deck building experience is required and working with composite decking a plus.
Duties/Responsibilities: • Be engaged and ready to work • Assist the Team by preparing a square and level foundation.
• Communicate with customers and accurately describe the processes (if needed) • Minimum of 2 years construction experience • Be able to install multiple types of railing and build accurate steps and landings • Understand footing requirements • Understand Flashing details • Be able to calculate rise and run • Familiar with all framing • Understand the building code and blueprints • Perform basic tasks in the shop This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: • Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous • People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects • Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture Requirements: • 2+ years (professional) construction experience or equivalent • This employee must be able to multi-task and work independently & efficiently with minimal guidance.
• Strong communication skills (written/verbal) • Motivated and eager to learn • Ability to lift 75lbs+ • Valid drivers license (with no major violations) • Represent the company with a professional appearance • Able to climb ladders • Have reliable transportation/be punctual and on-time • Safety Training and knowledge of importance Candidates must successfully pass a background check and a pre-employment drug test.
