JOB DESCRIPTION *
HEPACO, LLC (HEPACO) is a professional environmental contractor specializing in environmental cleanup and site remediation, emergency spill response, waste and industrial services, demolition, tank removal and installation and environmental construction.
We provide these services with our experienced and highly qualified project managers, technicians and equipment operators to a wide variety of customers, including environmental consultants, energy companies, industrial facilities, commercial property owners/developers, general contractors, public entities and other environmental service companies.
HEPACO is currently adding to our team and we are looking for an "Estimator".
This position can be remote (homebased).
Estimator
Estimator Job Responsibilities: Prepares and provides cost estimates and quotes for customers by analyzing proposals and project requirements.
Estimator Job Duties:
Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
Prepares work plans, schedules, and other submittals.
Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data.
Delegates and participates in a team effort to complete estimates in a fast-paced environment.
Participates in bid and quote reviews with members of the senior management team.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.

Qualifications Include:
Detail oriented with experience reading blueprints and specifications
Underground and aboveground storage tanks
Groundwater, solid, stream
Asbestos/abatement
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to function well in a team environment and meet deadlines
Construction estimating experience
College degree in engineering, civil construction, math or related field, and/or related construction experience a plus
Experience with estimating and opportunity-tracking software a plus, specifically Bid2Win and ConstructConnect
