Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer

Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as water trucks, graders, loaders, and other machinery.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment to complete assigned tasks.
- Follow project specifications and instructions from supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Skills: - Mechanical knowledge: Understanding of how heavy equipment operates and the ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
- Commercial driving: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to operate equipment on public roads.
- Heavy equipment operation: Proficiency in operating various types of heavy machinery, including water trucks, graders, loaders, etc.
- Water truck operation: Experience operating water trucks for dust control and other purposes.
- Grader operation: Ability to operate graders for leveling and grading surfaces.
- Caterpillar equipment: Familiarity with operating Caterpillar equipment is a plus.
- Horizontal drilling: Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques for underground utility installations.
- Paving experience: Experience operating equipment for asphalt paving projects is desirable.
- Attention to detail: Ability to perform tasks with precision and accuracy.
