SUMMARY
The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for Logistics Cost Management.
Cost management is responsible for the overall planning of the logistics and manufacturing costs, analyzing the billing operations, and cost reduction to achieve excellence in executing and controlling the assigned Business Plan.
This individual will organize, control, and monitor logistics activities of assigned solar panel raw materials: Glass, Frame (Aluminum, Steel), Junction Box, Wire/Busbar, Silicone (Sealant, Potting), EVA/EPE/POE Sheet, Back sheet, Flux and Cell, Ingot, wafer raw materials, etc.
The individual will work in a cross-functional team environment within entities of Hanwha Q CELLS, as well as other subsidiaries of Hanwha Group.
In 2024, this position will be relocated to Cartersville, GA.
The current office in Atlanta, GA, is temporary.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Cost
A) Logistics cost business plan management
· Plan ahead Monthly Logistics costs for a year.
· Planning Warehouse operating costs based on Yearly Production volume.
· Actual Logistics Cost analysis compared with a monthly plan besides BP cost.
· Manufactural cost analysis for raw materials about Import transportation cost.
B) Cost reduction management
· Manage and Lead yearly logistics cost reduction plan.
· Analyze reasons for cost reduction.
· Manage Logistics cost reduction compared with BP (Research reason for underperformance)
· Monthly logistics cost expense reports to HQ
C) Monthly cost analysis and Billing
· Report Actual cost compared to BP, Specific Logistics cost, and Irregular logistics cost.
· Irregular cost detail Analysis and reporting
· Verification of Freight contracted cost compared with billing cost.
· Validate and approve 3PL invoices for payment and monitor logistics cost development.
· Ensure shipping documentation is complete and accurate.
· Review all invoices for appropriate documentation.
· Check and manage logistics procedures, human resources, and outsourcing.
· Negotiation with additional cost outside of contract.
· Maintaining Logistics master data.

Duty Analysis/Management (Raw material, Spare parts, etc.
)
· Set up/verify the exact HS code for materials.
· Customs clearance management.
· Responsible for tasks such as updating market data and managing subscriptions.
· Customs clearance for equipment, spare parts, and handling related certificates and other documents.
· Management for actual duty refund and report.
· Frequently communicate with internal stakeholders regarding logistics topics.
· Support and engage actively with teammates’ related work.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, SCM, Business Management or related fields
· 1-3 years of logistics and transportation-related experience
· Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, and customs
· Ability to travel overseas and domestically
· Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, professional team environment with minimal supervision
· Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately and support project schedules and other deadlines
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience in manufacturing industries, especially in renewable energy
· Proficiency in Korean and English, both spoken and written
· Excellent computer literacy with advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office, including, but not limited to, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc
· CPIM, CSCPStrong knowledge of SCM and logistics
· Experience in high-volume and multi-site distribution with a solid understanding of FMS, TMS/EPR systems are highly desired
