General Job Description Maintenance Technician provides maintenance support to all areas to achieve optimal levels of productivity, quality, and safety and to assure internan and external customers satisfaction Every associate at Hanwha has an obligation to contribute equally to hold others accountable and improve processes and systems.
This will eventually ensure superior quality of products and services.
Total Quality management is a joint effort of management and associates in order to exceed customer satisfaction levels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain equipment in optimal operating condition.
Perform and track Preventative, Predictive, Condition-based, and Time-based maintenance activities through the PM program using logs & computer software.
Troubleshooting and repairing equipment using Critical Thinking, Different troubleshooting equipment, Root Cause Analysis by using Emergency work orders and general work orders.
Perform PMs as recommended by the manufacturer and maintenance PM program Follow all prescribed internal and manufacturer maintenance procedures.
Assist in implementing process improvement changes.
Communicate production and quality issues/concerns with associates and supervision whenever necessary.
Participate in team problem-solving activities.
Adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.
e.
: Quality Manual, Associate Handbook, etc.
).
Maintain high standards of housekeeping & 5S in respective areas.
Maintain high standards of workmanship.
Strong, diversified background in electrical, mechanical, electronic, plumbing, and pneumatic systems.
The incumbent must be able to troubleshoot complex mechanical/electrical equipment to determine the root cause for malfunctioning.
Good manual dexterity, the ability to safely work with hand and power tools.
Ability to work within time constraints & hard access areas to accomplish a given maintenance task.
Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and as a team member with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Works with blueprints, wiring schematics, sketches, equipment service manuals, sample parts, and general instructions.
Ability to independently carry out projects, ending with high-quality results.
Maintains adherence to company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices.
**Required Education and Experience ** 5+ years’ experience relevant to manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred.
A relevant manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred.
Extensive plant-level experience with significant proven man-management experience.
Technical capability and understanding.
Strong technical knowledge of equipment maintenance, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
Competent in problem-solving, team building, planning, and decision-making.
Commercially aware.
**Desired: ** Knowledge of Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and other Mechanical Engineering Concepts.
Experience with Programmable Logic Controller handling (preferred experience in Mitsubishi Q series).
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional Technical and Problem-Solving Skills.
Ability to Communicate effectively and clearly.
Boiler, Steam, Air Compressor, and other Utility Background.
