The Production Team Lead will assist the Production Supervisor in maintaining a safe, structured work environment while driving production throughput.
This position will act as a liaison between the production supervisor and line operators, ensuring that procedures are being followed, while also suggesting ideas for streamlining processes.

Orchestrates onboarding and continuous training program to help ensure efficiency and productivity of a quality product and employee career development.
Perform administrative tasks under the guidance of the supervisor.

Aggressively drive and present Tier 1 and Tier 2 metrics.
Know your numbers.

Bring any employee concerns to the supervisor to ensure company morale.
“Go to” person for all direct reports on their assigned production lines.

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
The ability to foster teamwork
Strong Verbal and written skills
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Adherence to and administration of Company procedures and policies.
Basic math skills (weight measurement, volume, distance, multiplication and division)
Attention to detail essential
Strong time management skills
Performs work under minimal supervision
Proven ability to identify, reason and problem solve minor non-conformities and deviations
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.

Preferred Education and Experience
1-2 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment and 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
Experience using blueprints and design sketches
Awareness of quality standards to include ISO 9001, ISO 18001 and ISO 13485.
