ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages and tracks budget during the course of assigned projects to include, working with plans, schedules, facility modifications, develop cost estimates for labor, material and equipment.
Coordinates internal and external resources for efficient execution of projects.
Tracks project status and provides a report of progress and identifies project risks.
Monitors, tracks and inspects active project status and progress of work against project plans, timelines, budget, specifications and scope.
Manages projects, changes and provides project updates along with reviewing engineering and mechanical aspects of documents.

Supervises and inspects field conditions and progress of work against project plans, and specifications.
Ensures best selections and negotiations of service level agreement with vendors, contractors and architects are achieved.
Reviews planning and contract documents prepared by outside consultants to ensure compatibility with CI’s standards and requirements.
Establishes and maintains relationships with landlords and vendors before project start, during and at project close.
Coordinates vendor activities with the contractor.
Tracks project performance and analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
Performs other duties as assigned.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Resolves daily project issues and works with Director, Capital Projects and internal departments/individuals for determining the impact of project issues, priorities or problems.
Adheres to applicable regulatory requirements, organizational policies and procedures, and departmental guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS - The qualifications listed below are representative of those duties required to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.
Educations and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, building construction, engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in restaurant design and construction with at least two years of supervisory or management experience; or, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, vendors and/or others as required.
Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project; ability to prepare letters, spreadsheets, presentations, project plans and/or other documents as required.
Solid knowledge and understanding of health, environmental and building code requirements and restaurant design.
Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, project management, time management, scheduling and budgeting.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprint drawings.
Must be detail oriented and organized.
Solid analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve conflict and deliver results.
Strong interpersonal, teamwork and management skills; ability to collaborate and work effectively with others.
