Job Summary:
The position requires leadership, understanding of job site set up, attention to detail and a complete commitment to safe work practices.
Ability to operate or willingness to learn Knuckle boom grapple crane necessary.
Duties include operating a mobile crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads on to commercial and residential properties.
Essential Functions:
Loads and unloads items adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
Operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
Transports load over required route to proper destination, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
Maintains vehicle cleanliness and replaces gaskets, nozzles and other related articles as necessary.
Performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Company policy.
Calculates boom/crane capacities and weights and checks clearances so that buildings, hydro wires and machine will not be damaged.
Ensures load is not over weight limits and adheres to DOT regulations Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking, on a daily basis, oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items.
Reports any equipment malfunctions and/or concerns to Manager.
Performs other related work, as assigned by supervisors.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have valid Commercial Driver's License.
Must be able to wear necessary PPE.
Must be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments.
Must be able to lift, move and maneuver heavy weights of 10 pounds frequently, and weights of up to 50 pounds infrequently.
Must be able to operate and service all required tools and equipment.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test.
Must be able to pass criminal background check.
