Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable *Commercial General Contractor* in the *Atlanta, Georgia* area on their search for a *Preconstruction Manager* to focus on work in the *Commercial sector, *managing a team putting together estimates up to *$350MM*.
As a Preconstruction Manager, your main responsibility will be to oversee a team of estimators who are responsible for compiling estimates for the cost of work by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
Included in this will be the estimation of labor, material, equipment, and time requirements in order to compute the overall cost and duration of the project.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Review project plans, requirements, and specifications
* Propose value engineering options to reduce project cost
* Determine costs of labor, material, and equipment
* Push the evolution of the construction documents as necessary
* Oversee the preparation of conceptual estimates
* Meet and maintain bidding and work schedules
* Submit requisitions for the purchase of materials
* Compare competitive specialist and material
*Skills & Qualifications:*
* Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related is preferred.
* *7+ years* preconstruction management experience working for reputable *General Contractors/Subcontractors*.
* *Commercial Project* Experience
