Job Description AECOM is seeking a Commissioning Agent in Atlanta, GA.
The Commissioning Agent will support new and existing building commissioning projects.
The selected candidate will grow under a senior commissioning agent.
The candidate will interface with both design and construction professionals as well as clients, trade contractors, and operations and maintenance staff.
This position requires onsite presence during building investigations, construction site visits, functional testing of building systems, controls and enclosure elements.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team! The job responsibilities for the position will include but are not limited to: + Possess project specific knowledge of the program’s commissioning requirements as defined in the scope of work and design documents.
+ Assists project manager with overall project including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
+ Development, coordination, and execution of the design, construction, acceptance, and warranty phase activities.
+ Performing commissioning reviews of construction documents.
+ Actively participating in project coordination meetings.
+ Leading commissioning coordination meetings.
+ Recording and distributing commissioning meeting minutes.
+ Reviewing shop drawings and equipment submittals.
+ Developing Pre- functional Checklists + Developing Functional Performance Test scripts and conducting functional test activities.
+ Performing Construction/Installation Observations + Evaluating equipment and building control/SCADA system installations with respect to contract documents, industry standards + Evaluating equipment and system installations with respect to the construction schedule + Producing field observation reports + Reviewing and coordinating with contractor to ensure training of facility operators on building systems meets contract requirements.
+ Witnessing and reporting on piping hydrostatic testing, duct air leakage testing + Witnessing factory and/or on-site equipment startup procedures + Assists in Troubleshooting Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + BA/BS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Valid U.
S Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review + Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering + 5+ years of mechanical, electrical or controls systems design or demonstrated equivalency of experience + HVAC and controls systems related field experience, which includes experience and skills in Commissioning Field and Office Activities, HVAC System installation.
+ Work experience with building control systems, equipment controls and sequence of operations.
+ AutoCAD and/or Revit experience + Experience with federal clients + CxA certification Additional Information + Relocation is not available for this position + Sponsorship is not available for this position Offered rate of compensation (Georgia locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
The salary range for this position is $70,222.
00 – $129,912.
00 annually exempt.
