You will be responsible for the field management and delivery of Commercial Multifamily Wood Framing projects.
Our current work is located in the following areas: * Gainesville, Florida * Bradenton, Florida * Fort Myers, Florida * Orlando, Florida * Atlanta, Georgia *Responsibilities and Duties: * * Supervise large Wood Framing projects on-site * Focus on Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Material Management * Develop and execute project plans in conjunction with Project Manager * Understand and follow staging, logistics, and phasing plan for projects * Ensure project quality control plan implementation and compliance * Act as the main field point of contact serving the General Contractor for customer service efforts * Manage project startup, including jobsite mobilization, production, and closeout * Prepare and participate in General Contractor startup meeting * Attend and assist regular project meetings * Complete weekly progress reporting to ensure accuracy of Schedule of Value billing * Report on vendor and subcontractor performance * Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met * Maintain required project documentation and utilization of Procore software and Delivery App * Help in development, planning, and maintenance of project schedule and related tasks in Wrike software * Contribute to material management with understanding of takeoffs and knowledge of project * Understand and document consumption rate for materials on field inventory form, help with projected material usage * Review approved submittal packages * Initiate RFIs to Project Manager and coordinate resolution with field staff and crew * Initiate Change Orders with Project Manager and execute once approved * Mentor and train assistants and interns 2774 Cobb Pkwy NW, Ste 109-166 Kennesaw, GA 30152 678-324-8203 *Education and Experience*: * Minimum 1 year of construction experience for Assistant Field Superintendent position * Minimum 2 years of Commercial Multifamily construction experience for Field Superintendent position *Qualifications and Skills: * * Excellent construction management skills * Proficient in plan reading * Strong leadership qualities * Strong organizational skills * Deadline and detail oriented * Demonstrated professionalism and sense of accountability * Strong analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills * Ability to focus on multiple tasks in multiple buildings * Collaboration skills with team orientation * Conflict resolution and interpersonal skills * Working knowledge of Procore, Excel * Bilingual technical writing and oral communication skills (preferred) *Salary and Benefits*: * Competitive salary commensurate with experience * 100% company paid Medical, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance – eligible the first of the month following 60 days of employment * 401K Savings Plan – eligible the first of the month following 90 days of employment * Paid Time Off (vacation, sick, holidays) *Why work here? * Join a great team bringing innovation to the framing industry.
