Program Manager 2
Job Summary:
The Program Manager I will be a key member of the Program Management Team set out to deliver world-class project execution.
Candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of projects from conception to launch.
This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical prowess, exceptional organizational and communication skills.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of products that exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities by Capability:
Technical Mastery • (30%)
· Demonstrates proficiency in program and project management tools and techniques, ensuring adherence to new product development processes.
· Utilizes standardized guidelines and templates to create robust project plans and maintain documentation in accordance with stage-gate development process.
· Collaborates with team members to identify and mitigate project risks effectively.
· Builds extensive cross-functional knowledge to manage risks, coordinate project activities, and make informed decisions.
· Works closely with cross-functional teams to develop timing and action plans, identifying dependencies and critical paths in coordination with senior program managers.
Technical Leadership • (20%)
· Follows best practices to attain project scope excellence to cross functional team • clarity of vision, goals, and expectations.
· Develops and maintains timing and action plan for projects of moderate scope with guidance from senior PMs.
Communication • (20%)
· Prepares project status and risks to manager with proper level of detail and recover plans.
· Challenges and provides constructive mitigation strategies.
· Supports cadence and techniques to run efficient meetings.
Problem Solving • (15%)
· Coordinates necessary data acquisition to provide strategic direction for solving problems.
· Identifies problems, conducts root-cause analysis, and implements solution using a systematic approach.
Business Acumen • (5%)
· Monitors project P_38_L and key drivers that affect overall program financial health ensuring projects meet established objectives (e.
g.
, margins, costs, revenue).
· Understands what program success is and drives path forward to achieve success in most timely and cost-effective manner.
· Applies technical knowledge and understanding to day-to-day decision making.
Organizational Agility • (10%)
· Participates on cross-functional teams to work seamlessly across boundaries of company, culture, and geography for successful project execution.
· Partners with development and delivery organizations to participate in consensus on new product development (NPD), productivity and product maintenance.
· Incorporates consumer and market insights as a driver of innovation and project execution.

Ideal Candidate Profile
· Bachelor•s degree in engineering, finance, business, supply chain, mathematics, or related field.
· 7+ years of experience in program management or leadership role required (New Product Development experience preferred)
· Familiarity with basic structured project management methodologies (e.
g.
, Critical Path).
· Familiarity with basic manufacturing processes and production planning.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
· Proficient in project Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power BI, Power Point, Teams, SharePoint).
· Maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships.
· Possesses sensitivity and acts appropriately with varying cultural societies.
· Ability to support the needs of and interact appropriately with cross-functional personnel.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills are required.
· Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-changing environment.
· Exhibits self-confidence.
