We are looking for a Operational Engineer/Process Engineer will be a key part of the Heliox development team, responsible for the design and modification of industry-leading heavy-duty-vehicle charging systems.
*only internal candidates will be considered* Position Responsibilities: The Operations Engineer is responsible for optimizing the external production process in terms of quality and efficiency by devising and implementing technical solutions and improvements within the development and production processes.
Own the change proposal process and manage it with other departments in the organization Set up new manufacturers in North America and introduce new products to existing manufacturers Analyse production process and making improvement proposals in the field of quality and efficiency Ensure all new design follows DFM methodology and implement changes in the design process for manufacturability and cost down.
Design testing methods for testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes (This will be done in conjunction with Development) Conduct and oversee FATs Work closely with suppliers to address Quality related issues, conduct RCAs, apply Lessons Learned, ensure compliance to established procedures, conduct Quality audits Release software updates to CMs as a package only as directed by SW Americas Share knowledge with the engineering department within new development projects in relation to the production process so that "efficient & high-quality manufacturing" can be ensured as early as the design phase, thereby enabling new designs to be produced in increasingly higher numbers (Needs to be involved in design review on the plants behalf) Support in the documentation of processes, procedures and the maintaining the Quality system toward ISO 9001 certification Support in the documentation of processes, procedures and the maintaining the Safety system toward ISO 45000 certification Support in the documentation of processes, procedures and the maintaining the Environmental system toward ISO 14001 certification Skills and Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field Minimum 5-8 years of related work experience In-depth theoretical knowledge of and experience with delivering process re-design and/or best practice implementation, utilizing Lean and Six Sigma approaches.
Advanced knowledge of the organization, policies, personnel and safety standards relevant to region.
