Job Title: Art Gallery Framer Location: Vinings Gallery Frame Studio Hours: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Position Type: Full-Time About Us: Vinings Gallery is a renowned art gallery specializing in the representation of world class artists that creates a diverse range of artwork from contemporary to classical.
We take pride in providing exceptional customer service ensuring the preservation and presentation of our custom framed art to its finest.
We are looking for the right candidate to fulfill a position as a full-time custom framer interested in pursuing a long term position.
The ideal candidate will have carpentry skills with a strong attention to detail.
A background in custom framing and a passion for fine art is preferred, but not required.
On the job training will be provided for the right candidate.
This is an incredible opportunity to learn a skilled trade.
The right candidate must be able to do the following: \* Work standing up for up to 8 hours a day \* Be able to lift up to 50 pounds handling large, framed works of art \* Able to do simple calculations converting fractions to decimals \* Basic Computer Skills Position Overview and Key Responsibilities: * Perform precise frame chopping and joining using accurate measurements to create custom frames for fine art.
* Handle delicate and valuable works of art with care during the framing process.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
* Manage an inventory of framing materials and order supplies as needed.
Qualifications: * A team player that will work collaboratively with the owner and gallery staff * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Detail oriented with excellent problem solving skills and adaptability Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.
00 - $25.
