Established Residential Restoration Contracting company searching to add additional estimators to our great team.
Applicant must have experience with Xactimate and writing estimates for Fire, Water and Storm Damage reconstruction.
It’s a requirement for the candidate to have significant knowledge of insurance direct repair programs/TPAs, such as Alacrity, Contractor Connection.
Knowledge of Dash software is a huge plus.
You will be driving around metro Atlanta and parts of northwest Georgia to various job sites.
You are provided a gas card for work related fuel and vehicle allowance for personal vehicle.
You will be eligible for a company vehicle within the first 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to understand project scope and objectives
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
- Identify potential risks and opportunities in project estimates
- Present cost estimates to clients and participate in negotiations
- Maintain accurate records of estimating activities
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Proficient in project management Xactimate software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Time management skills to meet deadlines
