*Summary*: A Quality Control Inspector is responsible for completing quality inspections and test to ensure the manufactured or incoming product is up to company standards.
*Distinguishing Characteristics*: This is a non-exempt position that reports to the Quality Control Supervisor.
*Essential Job Functions:*
* Conduct mechanical, dimensional, and visual quality inspections and weld test to ensure the products meet company standards and are free of waves, fractures, or dents.
* Accurately record results of inspections and testing.
* Read and understand blueprints, manufacturing specifications, and QC documentation.
*Required Knowledge and Skills:*
* Ability to move weight up to 30lbs.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to keep stamina for up to 10 hours at a time.
*Education, Experience, Certifications and Licenses:*
* Quality experience is a plus.
*Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements:*
* Warehouse environment, can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
*Skill and Equipment Utilized:*
* Measuring utensils
* Heavy machinery
