Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of HVAC systems
- Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency
- Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC systems
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC systems
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, including schematics and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with service technician tools and equipment
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components of HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (van driving may be required)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment
Skills:
- Experience in boiler installation, repair, or maintenance is a plus
- Knowledge of appliance repair for refrigeration units is beneficial
- Familiarity with HVAC/R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration) systems
- Ability to build, assemble, or disassemble HVAC equipment as needed
