Embroidery and Heat Press Operator

*SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:* Under the general direction of the Program Manager, Decorating Services, the Embroidery/Heat Press operator is responsible for ensuring that decorated apparel orders are completed accurately and punctually.
The Embroidery/Heat Press Operator will operate an 8-head Tajima embroidery machine or a Hotronix dual heat press, depending on demand and production schedule.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* * Read, interpret and complete embroidery & heat seal work orders.
* Enter appropriate design information into embroidery machines.
* Select correct colors of thread and properly thread embroidery machines.
* Hoops garments and fabric.
* Operate embroidery machine and monitor during sewing.
* Inspect and compare product with work orders.
* Perform adjustments to embroidery machines as needed.
* Apply heat transfers to apparel using a push-button heat press.
* Complete finishing processes such as trimming, folding, and bagging garments.
*QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:* * Minimum 2 years of embroidery/heat seal/production experience.
* Apparel knowledge & luxury brand experience, specifically in Golf, Licensed or other embellishment focused industries is a plus.
* Familiarity with embroidery/heat seal/decorating services planning and operations.
* Effective and proactive communication abilities.
* High commitment level to service excellence.
* High attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently while minimizing errors.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.
