(REI) is looking for a 1st shift (7AM - 3:30PM M-F) Molding Maintenance Technician to support our Toner production operations located in Lawrenceville.
In this fast-paced environment, the Molding Maintenance Techs will support our Toner manufacturing operations and Molding department by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and adjusting equipment for Injection, Blow, and Injection/Stretch/Blow Molding lines, including molds and molded parts assembly lines/equipment.
*The Molding Maintenance Techs will*_*:*_
* Perform mechanical, simple electrical and molding process troubleshooting and repair to solve operational problems with all equipment in the Molding Department.
* Perform product (tooling) changeovers.
* Dismantle, adjust, repair, assemble and rebuild equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manual, rough sketches or drawings.
* Perform routine and preventative maintenance of all Molding equipment, including molds, robots, conveyors, auxiliary and support equipment.
* Perform equipment modifications as directed.
* Maintain logs and records used in recording, tracking and improving equipment overall operation, maintaining Standards of Operation and Procedures.
*Qualified candidates will possess:*
* Minimum of 2-year technical experience in one or more of the above molding fields required.
* One year of technical education preferred
* Injection mold maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience preferred.
* Troubleshooting in mechanical, basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic preferred.
* Experience in plastics processing is a plus.
* Must have ability to read and interpret blueprints, maintenance manuals, engineering sketches, technical procedures, and SOPs.
* Basic math skills required (including decimals, fractions and measurement).
