To safely and efficiently maintain all plumbing related systems and equipment, including water, waste, pneumatic fixtures, HVAC lines and fire systems.
Contribute efforts and ideas to insure a safe and reliable plumbing infrastructure.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Your Role Accountabilities
* Employee will maintain proper dress attire as instructed by the General Maintenance Manager including but not limited to, proper uniforms and shoes.
No sneakers, blue jeans are to be worn at any time.
* Assist management with safety training, planning safety improvements, record keeping, and enforcement of OSHA guidelines and WBD safety policy.
* Works in conjunction with the General Maintenance Lead to help implement P.
M.
program for all restrooms and plumbing related systems and structures.
* Conduct safety audits to identify deficiencies and unsafe practices, which need immediate correction insuring a safe working environment.
* Maintain records, schedules, charts, etc.
, as required to ensure proper and timely preventive maintenance or repair of components, systems and structures.
* Submit ideas and suggestions to management to help plan work schedules and assignments in accordance with O&M repair requirements.
* Follows work priorities according to the status of the components, systems, structures, and actual work request forms to include the work order system and P.
M.
system.
* Ensure correct procedures are being followed and provide assistance when necessary.
* Assist in preparing purchase orders for materials, tools, equipment, spare parts and supplies, etc.
* Monitors O&M work to ensure correct procedures are being followed and provide assistance when necessary.
* Regularly inspects, maintains, and cleans assigned equipment to ensure proper operation.
* Performs other duties as required or as assigned by the GM Lead.
* Consulting Engineers and Contractors - As directed by the GM Manager, exchanges information regarding relevant components, systems and structures.
* Provides input and ideas to help expand predictive and pro-active maintenance programs.
* Provides input to help develop a working inventory, for plumbing related maintenance projects.
* Must be aware of personnel requirements for the plumbing department.
* Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with good industry practices and WBD safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of five (5) years of practical construction and maintenance.
Must possess a working knowledge of plumbing components, systems and structures, tools, test instruments, fixtures, and proper procedures related to installation, start-up, maintenance, and repair of plumbing related equipment.
* *ADAPTABILITY:*
* Coordinates work schedules as assigned by the General Maintenance Lead.
Must travel to various locations throughout the facility and grounds.
Conditions encountered include extremes in temperature, dust, and noise levels which may require special protective devices and/or clothing.
Some travel away from the facility and grounds may be required.
Climbing and movement in hazardous areas may be required.
Must understand proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment in all environments.
* *May be subject to 24 hour per day and 7 days per week call.
Employee will be required to carry, at all times while on duty, a tool pouch with assigned tools.

* *SAFETY*
* Must have working knowledge of safety equipment, systems and OSHA Guidelines to provide a safe workplace for employees and safe environment to the public.
* High School diploma or equivalent and current Journeyman Plumbers License.
* Stays informed of the O&M requirements associated with new and existing equipment.
* Completes continuing education classes as needed, keeping up with current plumbing codes and amendments.
