All welded heavy gauge aluminum fishing boat.
Very wide and stable.
Bottom measures 48" vs 36" on normal 15 ft jon boat.
**Edit due to lots of questions: heavy gauge means this boat is heavy (stripped hull is about 350lbs) and is not meant to be a pond boat.
Therefore I will not sell the boat alone.
I will sell without the engine, but the price already reflects the engine not running, so don't expect $1k less.
The good:
This boat is ready to fish! Everything you need comes with it and everything works.
I went through the boat from tip to tail about 3 years ago.
98% new wiring, upgraded fuse block, and new bilge pump, working 3 bank on board charger, Humminbird 998c side image with GPS puck, Minn Kota Copilot trolling motor (new remote and motor rebuilt 3 years ago) and 2 deep cycle batteries.
Includes all accessories: 2 seats and 1 riser, landing net, nav lights, throw cushion, 1 PFD, 2 wooden and 1 collapsible paddle, tool kit, mushroom anchor, tie off rope, earmuffs, and a nice Mustad dry bag.
Can also include transom mount trolling motor if you are wanting it for a reservoir boat.
The bad:
The previous owner put the long shaft 8 hp Honda on and built a very sturdy transom riser to keep the engine at the right height.
The engine ran great for a long time but over the last 2 years it's gotten hard to start.
It's technically a 9.
9hp as I swapped the CDI module out, but it currently isn't running.
It has good and even compression, a new fuel system (tank is faded but is only 3 years old), and a new ignition coil.
The only things left are the power and charge coils and the pulser coil, but it also doesn't charge the battery when it is running, so possibly something else.
I changed the water pump last year and foot oil is good.
I don't want to put any more time or money into it and buying a 25 isn't in the cards right now.
Other than that it only needs small things like a bit of wire loom and a battery box strap.
I was planning to redo the floor and storage box but they are usable.
Make an offer.
I may not say yes but I promise not to get offended.
Thanks!
