Overview: Emory Healthcare has an opening for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant on our Occupational Health team at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital.
This is a part-time position.
Work hours will be 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
We are looking for an APP who is experienced managing independent clinic or caseloads.
Ideal candidate will have 2+ years' experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Occupational Health.
The APP will need to be experienced and have the ability to work autonomously from a clinical perspective while being a team player with a willingness to back-up the clinical team as needed.
We have 8 APP's on the Occupational Health team and they rotate taking call.
Call is in two-week intervals and is focused on telephonic support.
APP generally provides coordination and triage support telephonically while on call.
APP's earn premium pay when scheduled for call.
Our Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are an integral part of the Emory Healthcare integrated academic health care system.
Some highlights of joining the Emory Healthcare team: Salary range: This is an exempt position and will be salaried however the hourly rate will range between $49.
32 to $61.
68 depending upon years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
This role is also incentive plan eligible.

Description: Job Description: Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients.
Documents the delivery of care in the individual's medical records.
Conducts patient interviews and documents patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status and medical problems or potential problems.
Under the direction of a physician, performs physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures including cast application and removal, wound suturing and dressing changes.
Assists physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
Minimum Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia.
May require at least one year of direct experience in one or more high acuity clinical specialties.
BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
ACLS may be required in some areas.
