Job Summary: Join a high performance cross-functional team of RFIC engineers developing high performance MMICs.
The team seeks a talented, motivated electrical engineering intern with an interest in Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits The ideal candidate is a hand on and detail-oriented individual who is able to self-educate and progress on tasks autonomously within boundaries defined by a mentoring engineer.
The intern will gain experience as a contributing member of an engineering design team from product conceptualization through all phases of a design including prototyping, manufacturing, and testing.
You will be part of a motivated cross-functional team of RF, Digital and Software Engineers that design and develop high reliability RF integrated Microwave assemblies and subsystems.
Job Responsibility: * RF Performance Characterization of COTS Components.
* Perform various analyses (line-up analyses, stress analyses, etc.
) in support of development programs * Provide component evaluation and chain analyses for senior engineers Create, check and release formal engineering documentation * Provide engineering support of existing products and new initiatives under the direction of engineers and managers Required Qualification: * Self-Motivated and eager to apply learning into practice * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years of college level course work at an accredited four-year university with a major in electrical engineering * Basic knowledge of RF Microwave Technology through coursework * Basic knowledge of data processing/presentation software; MATLAB / MS Excel / Powerpoint * Basic knowledge of electronics Basic knowledge of industry standard drafting, dimensioning and tolerance practices * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Able to work effectively as a part of an integrated design team "This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.
