Eaton’s Assemblies & Residential Solutions (ARS) Group has an opening for an Embedded Software Engineer! This role will be located in Peachtree City, GA or Pittsburgh, PA.

The expected annual salary for this role is $86,000 (bachelor's degree) with a one-time $6,000 sign on bonus or $95,000 (master's degree) with a one-time $6,000 sign on bonus.
What you’ll do:
• Participate in new product development/introduction, innovation, idea creation and implementation.
• Support product performance test plans with internal and external labs.
• Participate in project management and engaging with multi-disciplined teams to achieve goals using ProLaunch and other project management tools.
• Participate in Voice of the Customer (VOC) product, market requirements research and competitive benchmarking.
• Support work with team peers, extended internal team members and external developers.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or master’s in electrical or electronics engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, mechanical or electromechanical engineering or computer science from an accredited institution, with a graduation date no later than August 2023
• Minimum of one internship or co-op experience completed at the time of this application
• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.

• Geographic flexibility to relocate to Peachtree City, GA or Pittsburgh, PA
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.
2 or higher
• Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community
• Two or more relevant internships or co-op experiences
• Design engineering experience with embedded systems
Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively explain technical concepts
