02, 2024 Description:We are Lockheed Martin You will be the Software Engineer Sr for the Test Planning and Execution AutoTest Team.
Our team is responsible for developing and refining a software test automation paradigm for several new Skunkworks programs.
What You Will Be Doing As the Software Engineer Sr you will be responsible for all software testing of Tactical Aviation MS efforts spanning an extremely diverse array of capabilities and contexts.
This includes both mission-related capabilities (air system lethality and survivability) and core infrastructure capabilities (system health, diagnostics, etc.
).
Your responsibilities will include: • Working heavily with products such as Red Hat Linux's Ansible, Cucumber, Kubernetes, Helm, and Gitlab.
• Be a self-starter, operating on a small team of high performing self-starters, and implementing these COTS tools in novel ways on air-gapped (classified) networks.
• Must be willing to learn new and eclectic technical skills outside of their comfort-zone and be open-minded to diving into whatever technical challenges call attention in their periphery.
• External (customer) and internal (Lockheed decision makers) communication will be required.
• Leadership abilities needed to assist a team of multidisciplinary engineers to quickly determine and implement their test automation needs.
You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a security clearance.
