Senior Software Developer

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for creating and maintaining software, in-house hardware, and network systems.
Using the defined standards and technology stack, this position will develop critical products for our all internal clients and offer excellent technical support.
Will oversee a team of software developers, ensuring the they produce work that addresses the company needs and follow company standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Review and support current systems.
Present ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals.
Work closely with analysts, designers and staff.
Produce detailed specifications and writing the program codes.
Test the product in controlled, real situations before going live.
Prepare training manuals for users.
Maintain the systems once they are up and running.
Report on data created by the systems, as needed.
Complete ad-hoc requests based on the needs and priorities of the company.
Troubleshoot issues.
Support employees and resolve software related issues.
Manage team of developers, ensuring their work addresses the needs of the company.
Work with other leads to develop solutions that best address the company needs.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field, preferred.
5+ Years of experience as a software developer.
2+ years of Analytical and commercial experience.
Understanding of Financial industry, preferred.
Fluent in Spanish, preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY This position is responsible for the direct supervision a designated group of software developers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the logistics duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moderate noises such as computers, printers, and other light traffic noise in an office setting.
This role is in-office.
Remote work may be performed from a pre-approved location, as arranged, and scheduled by team management and approved by department leadership.
