As a member of the Application Lighting Design Team you will: Interface with customers regarding technical aspects of the organization’s products.
Work closely with Sales and Engineering to provide support by creating lighting calculation layouts and technical solutions to meet project-specific requirements.
Determine the best project solution to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to organization policies.
We are looking for someone who can or is willing to: • Communicate directly with customers to coordinate the successful completion of lighting layouts.
• Ability to multitask to deal with a steady flow of project work and demand of timelines.
• Customer-facing to deal with technical questions and demonstrate design expertise.
• Create deliverables that follow department standard guidelines.
• Provide technical support to customers via Teams chats, Online and/or Phone.
• Create and maintain internal documentation on all projects.
• Participate in daily meetings and internal training.
• Highly self-motivated with a positive outlook.
Key Requirements: • Must have some experience with Visual Studio • Perform lighting calculations and comparisons utilizing AGi32, Visual, Draftsight, and Photometric Toolbox • Strong computer skills, to include Visual, AGi32, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Suite.
Sketchup, • Strong technical aptitude for lighting topics and concepts.
• Similar design experience with lighting calculations, and creating renderings.
• Strong understanding of IESNA to help generate and create designs within standards • General knowledge of national codes such as ASHRAE, Title 24, LEED, Well Building, DLC.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Bachelors Degree Nice to haves: • Experience with Revit a plus! • Minimum of 1-2 years of professional lighting design experience preferred • LC Certification a Plus! Or willing to obtain accreditation.
• French or Spanish is a plus! • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Lighting emphasis a plus! We value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
