General Job Description
The Electrical Engineer will lead and participate in electrical design and development projects from conception to final build.
He/She will be responsible for designing testing and implementing electrical systems and components while ensuring compliance with regulatory codes and industry standards.
The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure success across the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems and components by analyzing customer requirements, evaluating design alternatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory codes and industry standard
Collaborate with other engineers and internal interdisciplinary teams to define and solve technical issues
Create and review technical specifications, schematics, and diagrams.
Build and test prototypes to ensure adherence to technical specifications and performance standards
Perform leading-edge research and identify technological innovations and trends in the electrical engineering field
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors for component fabrication, installation, and servicing.
Regularly monitor project timelines, budgets, and progress to ensure project completion within established deadlines and budgets
Develop and maintain documentation for all electrical-related user manuals, test procedures, and technical reports.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
Experience in design and development of electrical systems, hardware, and components.
Ability to efficiently use CAD software and other electrical engineering tools
- Knowledge of industry-standard regulatory codes such as ISO 9001, IEEE
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and share technical knowledge and expertise with colleagues and peers
Excellent project and time management skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients.
An Electrical Engineer should have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
The engineer should be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using a systematic approach.
Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired:
Knowledge in extrusion machines.
Professional certifications such as Professional Engineering (PE) certification or an industry-specific certification may be required depending on the employer and industry.
