Cantaloupe’s “Seed” is a leading software as a service (SaaS) Platform supporting vending, micromarkets and delivery service markets.
The scale of the platform allows us to support thousands of customers and process millions of transactions per day both in the US and internationally.
Seed is used to track inventory at point of sale, intelligently determine restock requirements, coordinate picklists with the warehouse, schedule routes for service and restocks, track sales, and many other back-office functions.
We are seeking software engineer interns to work on various development projects including Web Front ends, Web Services, Web API’s, Database/SQL and research on tools, processes and CI/CD.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will participate is any of the following:
Be part of an international, Agile Scrum development team
Working as both an individual and as part of a larger team, contribute to the development of enhancements and new functionality of the Seed SaaS Platform
Research development tools, process, and automation to continuously optimize our CI/CD process.
Develop software using cloud-based Microsoft technology stack including AZURE, C# .
net, Core and SQL Server SQL.
Learn to code at a high standard of quality, scalability, performance, maintainability, and security.

Ability to work well in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Basic programing skills needed to be able to implement solution following modern coding patterns and best practices.
Adaptable and a quick learner: ability to learn and use new tools /technologies as needed.
A solid understanding of databases and SQL.
Experience with SQL Server even better.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to present, defend and debate your ideas with other engineers.
