The opportunity:
As a Sr PPM Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the OOTB configuration of an enterprise Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) tool (ServiceNow) and dashboard reporting.
You will work with the DTO organization to assist team members to become proficient in SPM process and reporting tool functionality through training and coaching.
In addition, you will collaborate with IT & Business Functional Stakeholders and Portfolio Managers to define & analyze reporting requirements as needed.
Responsible for maintaining OOTB ServiceNow & BI Dashboard solution to achieve functional requirements.
Interact with subject matter experts, application development, and technical support staff to define functional specifications that meet user requirements and
Create and write stories based on analysis of business requirements
Test and validate stories were developed to business requirements
Coordinate user acceptance testing for new ServiceNow solutions, changes, process improvements, etc.
Assist in analysis and reporting of testing defects
Provide implementation and post implementation support to our stakeholders
Write knowledge articles and documentation that describes features and functionality for business users
Partner and collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to provide general ServiceNow consultancy services, identify data gaps, and develop solutions to meet business and IT&D strategic goals
Work with stakeholders to process information and gather insights and trends from various data sets.
Build comprehensive set of PPM reports to track all possible KPIs of portfolios and projects.
Continuously improve reporting to support Program Operations and drive adoption
How you will impact WestRock:
Support DTO achieve world class strategic portfolio management that provides IT users total visibility of all approved demand and projects including inter-dependencies.
Configure and administer various ServiceNow dashboards and reports used by ePMO
Configure and administer Qlik reports related to ePMO and DTO efforts.
Create training documentation and knowledgebase articles that can be used across the various IT teams.
Lead the incident/maintenance process to ensure governance of PPM solution.
Research and analyze new ServiceNow OOTB functionality.
Understand the practical application of existing, new, and emerging features to enable evolving business and operating reporting needs in Servicenow, Qlik and sharepoint.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field; specialized training; or equivalent professional experience
Minimum years of experience: 3+ years of Strategic Portfolio Management experience in an enterprise environment, 5+ years of business analytics experience
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration of components such as Service Portal, SPM Dashboards and Performance Analytics
Knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, REST Web Services, APIs, Power BI, Qlik and UI/UX design
Being self-directed, fast-paced, collaborative, and results-oriented
Strong communication, analytical, problem solving skills
Familiarity with enterprise PMO operations and project management methodologies
Understanding of Data Governance & Quality controls
