Devops Engineer

Job Description – Job Title: DevOps Engineer Who You Are: Join a rapidly growing healthcare software industry leader.
Currently, we have a need for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for the architecture, design, and delivery of infrastructure and CICD for software products with a cloud focus.
Candidates should have advanced knowledge of cloud development practices in AWS (and/or Azure) and all related cloud eco-systems bringing a thorough background in hands on programming to assist with many projects.
The candidate must be capable of mentoring and guiding other software engineers on concurrent projects as needed and should be able to do so with technical integrity.
You will report directly to the Director of Engineering.
What You’ll Do: Design, implement and automate the creation of Cloud Infrastructure in AWS using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform (or Ansible, Jenkins etc.
) Collaborate with the development team to define infrastructure and deployment requirements.
Build and help transform towards container and serverless compute architectures, such as ECS, EKS, Docker and Lambda functions.
Build and help maintain CI/CD pipelines and orchestrations across multiple environments.
Build effective Observability of applications and infrastructure on Datadog and New Relic, including troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Explore new technologies, development patterns, and partake in pilots/POC/technology evaluations.
What You’ll Bring: Required: 5-8 years of software related experience required, with a mixture of Development, Site Reliability, DevOps, or Release Engineering experience.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform (or CloudFormation) Possess recent experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps (Or Jenkins) Proficient in Shell Scripting Languages (PowerShell & Bash).
