Our Application Development teams use their expertise in programming languages and software design to develop next-generation technology.
They are responsible for developing the applications which track and move up to 38 million packages in a single day (4.
7 billion annually).
This team works closely with all of our customers to build and support innovative technologies that are customized to drive our business and provide the ultimate customer experience.
As a member of the applications development family, you will help UPS grow and provide valuable services across the globe.
The Applications Developer performs duties and tasks to support full systems life cycle management (e.
g.
, analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.
).
He/She will coordinate, schedule, and support application deployments for business-critical systems and infrastructure and have responsibility for application development, maintenance, and support.
Additional responsibilities include implementing business continuity strategies, security and compliance remediation, application deployments, as well as platform infrastructure maintenance and support.
Broad experience developing, supporting and upgrading business, software system platform s and technologies is a must.
This position supports existing SQL jobs and give a permanent solution if there are any issues.
The position requires the ability to manage project tasks to completion.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with Agile Development, Windows Operating System
5+ Experience with SQL Server with advanced knowledge.
Microsoft .
NET core & Angular working knowledge is a required.
C# development/programming experience is required.
5+ years of must have good working experience to SSIS Packages, SSRS, Query optimization a plus.
Effective Time Management & Prioritization, Organizational skills, Team Collaboration, Detail-Oriented, Multitasking
Azure experience with ADF is a plus.
Good Communication and interpersonal skills
