Artisys Corporation is looking for an Android developer with at least 3 years of experience.
We are seeking a candidate who is willing to work onsite, as no telecommuting/remote positions are being offered.
You must be a driven self-starter and must be willing to relocate to the city/state of the client's assignment.
This is a contract position, and we are looking for a developer who is currently in the United States and is eligible to work without sponsorship.
As an Android Mobile Developer for Artisys Corporation, you will be enhancing and debugging large-scale applications for our enterprise-level clients.
We are eager to meet an Android developer who checks off the following boxes:

Qualifications and Skills:
Strong knowledge of MVC / MVVM software architectural patterns.
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
Experience with Espresso, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks for mobile
Experience with mobile data storage with SQLite
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Comfortable with GIT, SVN, and source control
A strong work ethic and the ability to manage yourself and your time
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Required Experience:
At least 3 years of experience developing Android mobile applications with both Java and Kotlin programming skills
The ability to design and build an advanced and complex Android mobile application in a team setting (Agile environment experience is a plus).
Experience in writing high-performance and modular front-end code
Must have published at least 1 application to the Play Store or able to demonstrate commiserate knowledge of the complete mobile application life cycle
Good extras to have:
A demonstrated contribution to the Android community via open-source
Hands-on experience with React Native
A GitHub account demonstrating personal project(s)
Knowledge of any server-side languages is a plus
