Our Data Analytics practice is growing, and we are looking to add a BI Platform Architect… You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data visualization solutions using Power BI, Tableau, and other platforms, and integrating these with ERP systems.
Your role involves translating business requirements into data models, dashboards, and reports that provide actionable insights for decision-makers.
What you will do… Data Modeling: Create and maintain robust data models that pull data from ERP systems and other relevant sources to support reporting and analytics needs.
Dashboard and Report Development: Design and build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using BI platforms, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
ERP Integration: Develop standards for ERP specialists to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from ERP databases into BI platforms, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
Performance Optimization: Optimize BI platform reports and queries for efficient performance, ensuring fast response times even with large datasets.
Security: Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information within BI platform reports and dashboards.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver insights.
Documentation: Maintain documentation of data models, report designs, and data integration processes for future reference and team knowledge sharing.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and colleagues, enabling them to utilize Power BI for self-service reporting and analysis.
What you bring… Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, and ERP system integration Required: Strong proficiency in Tableau or Power BI platforms, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M language Preferred: Certifications in BI platforms and ERP systems Preferred: Experience with R, Python, Java, C++, and C# Experience working with ERP systems (e.

, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, Intacct) and knowledge of ERP data structures Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes Proficiency in SQL and database management Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team *Preferred: Consideration will be given to candidates in the Atlanta area who are comfortable working in a hybrid model.
