As a Senior-Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for researching, designing, planning, developing, testing, and evaluating new, advanced technologies, networks, and platforms by translating requirements or strategic business objectives into final product design.
You will be required to lead and provide technical oversight for the full end-to-end solution on complex cross-functional IoT programs that involve system/software, hardware, and network development, migrations, and deployments across the globe.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth assessment of end-to-end solution needs, providing modeling, prototyping, system/product life cycle flows, evaluating all deliverables, integration points, and dependencies, as well as test planning/strategy/execution.
• Perform product engineering assignments, including design, development, documentation, and testing of network and end-to-end product & system integration, including hardware, firmware, or software deployments for new or enhanced products.
• Act as a key consultant or liaison with clients/customers to understand their requirements and provide technical oversight, ensuring that a full end-to-end solution is well defined and requirements are defined at a technical level for each system and vendor.
• Define an end-to-end test strategy across multiple testing phases by collaborating with the customer and all impacted systems/vendors.
• Provide oversight, leadership, and assist in the execution of all deliverables throughout the entire testing phase.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Math.
• 5-8 years of experience in technology development.
• Ability to lead multiple projects, knowledge of IT architecture, and Mobility Networks.
• Experience in software design and development.
• Knowledge in transport network technology (Protocols, equipment, services), Product Development & Testing, Project/Program Management, Quality Assurance and Testing, Quality Management, Technical Acumen, Business Orientation, Customer Focus, Technical Risk Assessment, and Mitigation Strategies.
