*RCP060, Compliance Spec 1 (EEO Specialist/ADA Coordinator) * *Salary- $57,200.
00* *JOB SUMMARY: *Under supervision, may plan, organize, or coordinate the activities of an assigned program.
Learns to review, monitor and ensure compliance with assigned program area's policies and procedures.
*JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES: * * Under limited supervision, collects, monitors, and analyzes employment statistical data for regular update ad inclusion in the Affirmative Action Plan (AAP).
* Researches and analyzes program/operation data; generates regular and ad hoc statistical and informational reports.
* Records, schedules, and investigates Title VII and ADA complaints impartially, promptly, and accurately.
Provides advice and counsel relative to Title VII laws and all EEO requirements when requested.
* Ensures EEO Consideration during interview and selection process (ISP), offer recommendation regarding EO guidelines and civil rights law as applicable.
* Collects statistical data on participants in and beneficiaries of state highway programs, relocates, impacted citizens, and affected communities.
* Prepares the annual Title VII update reports presenting the accomplishments for the past year and goals for the next year.
* Researches and analyzes state codes, federal regulations and industry manuals regarding forms policies and procedures.
* Recommends programmatic and / or operational changes based on review, audit, or survey results.
* Monitors, tracks, and maintains records of compliance.
Provide advice and counsel regarding Title VII, ADA, and EEO requirements when requested.
* Prepares, reports, and maintains EEO Statistical Data, along with the ability to collect and tabulate statistical data using software and related analytical and informational tools.
* Prepares and circulates EEO Monthly utilization data to Executive leadership, district officials and federal operating administration personnel, as required in support of the AAP and professional diversity.
* Logs and maintains all EEO, EEOC, GCEO and OIG complaints and responses.
* Coordinates and prepares ADA reports and updates, internally in response to federal reporting requirements and externally for local government and MPOs.
* Monitors barrier removals and updates ADA Transition Plan accordingly.
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* *The selected candidate must meet the advertised minimum qualifications to include State Entry Qualifications as well as Agency Specific Qualifications.
* *STATE ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:* * Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university * OR Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of related experience * OR High school diploma or GED AND Two years of related experience.
* Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
*AGENCY SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:* * Possesses advanced level knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative action, or Title VII * Demonstrated ability to collect and tabulate statistical data.

_Good Employment Standing:_ In accordance with the Interview and Selection Process (ISP), an applicant must have no active disciplinary actions to be in good employment standing.
Actions that may disqualify an applicant include letters of reprimand (active for 12 months after issuance date); suspension without pay or disciplinary demotion (active for 12 months from the effective date); Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) and Leave Restriction Plans (active until 12 months after the date of conclusion).
In addition, an employee must have an overall ePerformance rating score of three (3) or higher on their most current evaluation.
Please note that Memorandums of Concern are not considered disqualifying factors.
Human Resources may remove any employee from consideration for selection who is pending a disciplinary action; however, if the action is resolved in the employee’s favor, he or she will be allowed to compete.
