As an intern, you be exposed to the design, development, maintenance, and support of critical and highly visible platforms for ICE.
You will work under the guidance of a more senior engineer on an existing product team to develop real-world skills.
The ideal candidate must be results-oriented, self-motivated, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Participate in the design, architecture, and planning of technology solutions to meet the business need
Participate in the development of new methods, procedures, processes, or systems
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Create comprehensive unit tests for new development items
Adhere to coding style guidelines and development best practices
Knowledge and Experience
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
Good attitude and eager to learn
Experience in an object-oriented programming language such as Java or C++
Good understanding of data structures
Basic understanding of multi-threaded processing / concurrency
Basic understanding of security concerns for web-based applications
Basic understanding of SDLC
Ability to work in a team environment
Effective communication skills
Experience with Git preferred
