As a Software Engineer, you will establish processes to develop software changes while effectively working in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities span the full life cycle, including analysis, development and review of software requirements, design, code and low-level test procedures, software integration testing, and investigating problem reports.
This is an entry-level position, requiring detailed instructions and/or close supervision on all work assignments.
This position can be worked from Kirkland, WA, or Duluth, GA.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities* *include the following.

* * Complete work assignments in a timely manner.
* Follow established software development processes and procedures.
* For small/routine-level software changes: * Develop and review software requirements.
* Develop and review software design data.
* Develop, test, debug and review source code.
* Integrate software with existing systems.
* Perform software change impact analysis.
* Develop and execute low-level requirements-based test procedures.
* Ability to apply basic skills in C/C++ or an equivalent programming language.
* Ability to apply basic understanding of computer science fundamentals in data structures.
* Ability to apply basic understanding of computer science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis.
* Ability to apply basic understanding of computer architecture concepts.
* Basic ability to logically and systematically troubleshoot a problem.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

*Education and/or Experience* * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer, or Electrical Engineering, or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics or Mathematics with knowledge of, and experience with software development that is commensurate with the skills listed below.
*Computer Skills* * Proficient with personal computers and computer operating systems.
* Proficient with software development environments, programming and debugging tools.
* Ability to apply understanding of version control systems.
*Language Skills* * Ability to write professional correspondence and effectively communicate information to other employees in English.
*Mathematical Skills* * Ability to apply understanding of mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry, probability and statistics, logic, sets, and number systems).
*Reasoning Ability* * Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
* Ability to assimilate information from diverse sources to form a complete situational picture and develop a plan of action to accomplish a task.
* Ability to use process of elimination when diagnosing problems.
