SUMMARY: As the first point of contact for IT support within our organization, the IT Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to software, hardware, and network systems.
This role is crucial in managing and supporting our cloud-based services, with a particular focus on Office 365, including Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and Intune, ensuring the security and efficiency of our cloud-based operations.
A familiarity with AutoMox for system monitoring, software deployment, and updates is an added advantage.
The successful candidate will also provide vital support for various operating systems, including Windows 10 and 11, as well as OSX.
In the realm of mobile device management, this role involves assisting with the setup O365 software and troubleshooting of iOS and Android devices.
Moreover, the specialist will be responsible for supporting and troubleshooting issues with Office suite applications.
Communication skills are paramount in this position.
The IT Support Specialist must demonstrate excellent listening and communication skills, aiding less technical peers in resolving IT issues and finding solutions.
Customer service is a key aspect of this role.
The candidate must maintain patience and provide excellent service, always upholding a respectful and supportive attitude towards colleagues and peers.

QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
Experience in PC deployment and management using modern tools like InTune and AutoMox.
Strong understanding of cloud services, particularly O365 (Azure Active Directory, InTune).
Experience with Windows and OSX operating systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Patience and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Familiarity with AutoMox is advantageous but not mandatory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor the support queue and assist users with technology as required.
Assist with back-end systems changes and improvements.
KEY COMPETENCIES: Windows 10 / 11 and OSX operating systems including troubleshooting and support.
Office 365 software suite support.
Familiarity with TeamViewer for remote support calls.
Great communicator especially when dealing with less-technical users.
Good listening skills.
Kindness, compassion, and understanding.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 2-3+ years recent experience in a similar position Complete familiarity with personal computers, Macs, and telecommunications equipment In-depth knowledge of Windows 10, OSX, Office Networking and the Microsoft Office 365 Cloud Suite Azure AD (Entra ID) Active Directory administration Knowledge of networking concepts Troubleshoot workstation hardware and software issues.
