JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer
LOCATION: 13560 Morris Road, Suite 4100, Alpharetta, GA 30004
DUTIES: Position will design, program, and test and new features in hotel management software; maintain software with bug fixes and improvements; participate in enhancing software with latest tech stack; participation in resolving customer issues; help define, build, document, and evangelize application services; develop and maintain Infor ION; participate in key software management activities, such as analyzing requirements, estimating work effort, and performing demos; prepare technical documentation and work directly with documentation team; evangelize product adoption; research technology trends in order to aid product evolution; and, shape and drive overall company success by helping shape application and architecture for long-term growth.
Telecommuting permitted up to 100%.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field; and five (5) years of progressive related post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered, or in a Senior Software Engineer-related occupation.
Candidate must have five (5) years of post-baccalaureate experience involving each of the following:
Java programming experience building and maintaining complex business application;
Programming experience writing SQL statements for a complex business application;
Experience working with at least one of the following Javascript frameworks: Angular, React, Vue, or ExtJS;
Understanding and demonstrated experience with Kafka;
Experience developing applications hosted in AWS; and,
Demonstrable knowledge of GWT, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
