As a Capital One SailPoint Engineer, you’ll work on a SailPoint identity platform to support Identity Access Management needs.
Responsibilities: IdentityIQ Engineer/Java and XML developer - will be responsible for the maintenance of, and enhancements to, existing IdentityIQ software solutions.
Development and Configuration of code in support of all components of the IdentityIQ solution.
Strong experience in XML, Java, JavaScript, BeanShell, IDE/Code Repository, Server OS, Tomcat, JDBC/SQL, and familiarity with IdentityIQ configuration and IdentityIQ API.
Identify opportunities for automation, evaluate new tools, and drive implementation of technology that creates value for the organization.
Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members Provide regular updates to the management team on project progress Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve SailPoint-related functional and technical issues Identify opportunities for automation, evaluate new tools, and drive implementation of technology that creates value for the organization Implement new code into UAT and Production for system development lifecycle processes Identify and communicate high-level gaps and issues in primary functional area Identify risks and issues and develop recommendations that address significant risks and complex issues.
Collaborates with vendors on root cause and helps drive mitigation or elimination actions for future incidents.
SME in SailPoint implementation, SDLC, IAM, SailPoint IIQ best practices.
Lead application development, connector configuration, and custom rule development to optimize IAM processes.
Create reusable rules, tasks, forms, and reports within SailPoint IdentityIQ.
Perform SailPoint solution configuration, patching, and administration for optimal performance.
Experience in reverse engineering and debugging java projects to enhance or rewrite as needed.
Maintain and enhance existing IdentityIQ workflow customizations and develop/integrate new customizations.
Strong analytical skills and able to work independently to execute solid solutions.
Document and execute unit and integration test cases for new features, bug fixes and troubleshoot.
Basic Qualifications: High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification At least 2 years of experience in Information Security At least 1 year of experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ Tool or any IAM or IGA Tool At least 1 year of experience with Java Programming Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree 2+ years of experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ Tool or any IAM or IGA Tool 2+ years of experience with Java Programming 3+ years of experience troubleshooting SailPoint workflows and customizations 3+ years of experience with Role Based Access Controls (RBAC) 3+ years of experience troubleshooting end user issues in Access Certifications 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) ITIL Certification AWS Certification At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
