The Senior Corporate Tax Analyst, reporting to the Corporate Tax Manager, will coordinate, lead and assist with the preparation and review of the ASC740 quarterly reporting and all U.
S.
federal, state and local tax compliance requirements for the Company.
Responsibilities
To interface between the corporate tax department and its subsidiaries on all tax matters: governance/compliance, tax expense and cash tax planning.
Preparation and first line detail review of the quarterly domestic subsidiary tax reporting in accordance with ASC 740 tax accounting requirements.
Preparation and review of consolidated US federal, state and local corporate income tax returns, provision to tax return adjustments, quarterly estimated and extension payments.
Preparation and review of global corporate tax account reconciliations.
Assist domestic tax leadership with US tax planning opportunities and support corporate-wide activities related planning, cash management and M&A.
Monitor tax legislative changes and perform tax research and documentation necessary for federal, state, and local income and transactional tax matters.
Co-ordinate, document and respond to federal, state and local income and transactional tax audit requests and correspondence.
Collaborate on accounting, auditing and tax projects as needed.
Adhere to sound business procedures and systems used by the Company to ensure that all tax reporting and management control requirements are met.
Travel up to 10% on a domestic basis.
Additional duties as required.
Education/Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA Certificate or advanced degree is a plus)
5 years’ minimum experience with progressive experience in Big 4 firm or large multinational corporation.
Experience with large accounting firm, law firm or large corporate tax department of a multinational company is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP / ASC 740 income tax accounting
Strong knowledge of federal, state and local tax laws including tax compliance procedures.
Proven skillset in the areas of accounting consolidation and general ledger applications, tax work papers and documentation, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills and general Microsoft office and outlook applications, as well as proficiency with tax reporting desired.
Experience with tax process/systems/software including Corptax Compliance and Provision or similar packages (Oracle, Onestream).

Strong tax research skills and solid writing to document tax technical.
