*About the Position* We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst who will report to our Accounting Manager.
The perfect candidate will be responsible for developing financial models and analyses that support and advance strategic initiatives, prepares annual budgets and quarterly financial forecasts for individual business units and the consolidated organization.
You will develop new processes, internal management reporting and financial statement board packages.
An advisor on projects to drive cost efficiency and compliance with approved budget.
Prepare and communicate yearly variance reporting and comprehensive analysis for budget, forecasts, and actuals.
*Responsibilities* · Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning and forecasting activities.
· Create monthly internal reports to senior leadership.
· Analyze budgeting and profitability at the entity and department level.
· Work with accounting team to identify reclass entries.
· Monthly review meetings with senior leadership · Support annual budget process through analytics and budgeted financial statements.
· 5-year forecast modeling · Assist in creation of product profitability analysis.
· Maintain a documented system of internal controls, accounting policies and related procedures.
· Quickly learns complex processes and procedures; and effectively prioritize tasks to satisfy deadlines.
· Performs well independently in unstructured situations and with minimum direct supervision.
· Additional analytics as needed.
*Qualifications* · Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or similar field with *minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Financial Analyst.
* · Proven experience in financial modeling and budgeting for multiple functional areas · Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills · Thorough understanding of techniques and methods for accounting, budgeting, cost tracking and financial projections · Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors.
· Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Excel · Strong communication and follow-up skills · Ability to work with all levels of management.
